TAMÁS KOVÁCS
Tamás Kovács, the dreamer of the Hungarian Iron Routes
“We have several decades of rock and mountaineering experience, and we are opening and building new rock climbing roads all over Hungary and Europe. We would also like to show the vertical empire to those, who aren’t climbers. That's why we started building ironed roads in our country to create a safe opportunity for those who want to go high. ”

DID YOU KNOW?
The first via ferrata was built of wood on the Mount Auguille in 1492. During the First World War, the Dolomites were given a new impetus to build up mountainous trails with ropes, to facilitate the deployment of troops and supplies. Since then, it has spread as a free time sport across Europe as a simpler, safer way of rock climbing, and an introduction to the wonderful world of mountains. In Hungary, the Tatabánya Alpin Sports Club is building the ironed roads. There are currently 10 routes at 3 locations from B / C to E / F.
